Louise Currie

Louise joined the Community Action staff team (for the second time!) on 27 November 2006, in the new role of Community Initiatives Officer.

Louise's working background was initially in Mental Health, then in Community Development. She has worked in Northumberland since 1987 for organisations such as CAN, the Local Authority and the County Council - primarily in Community Development posts, in both the urban and rural areas of the county. Most recently, she has been employed by Northumberland Strategic Partnership.

Louise enjoys the challenges of the post, which involves working intensely with community building committees and parish and town councils.
