Community Support

Do you have an idea on how to improve your community but don't know how to make it a reality?

Community Action Northumberland can provide a wide range of advice, support and encouragement for community and voluntary groups to achieve their aims.

In the first instance, this advice is provided by the Community Development Team which is spread out across the county in order to engage with and support a wide range of communities, groups and active individuals at grassroot level.

Officers are based in Berwick, Alnwick, Morpeth and Hexham, please see Our Offices for contact details and Staff page for details of the team.

Where necessary, assistance is provided by other members of staff who provide specialist advice on topics such as charity law, constitutions, management, community buildings, rural services, local government and finance.

A more limited level of support is offered in the Wansbeck and Blyth areas as we work in partnership with Wansbeck CVS and CVA Blyth Valley.
