Community Action Northumberland

Community Action Northumberland provide advice, support and information on funding for your project or service, this is generally through the Community Development Team.

Our approach is to help groups become more able to secure funding without ongoing support from CAN.

We have produced a number of Information Sheets which provide advice on applying for funding.

Some of the ways a community development officer could help you include:

• Helping you to develop a project idea
• Helping you to search for funding opportunities using Funding Central or FINE information.
• Assisting with writing a funding application - although we won't write it for you!
• Reading over your funding application before you submit it

We provide information on funding opportunities through CAN News and CANNY News.

We hold a series of Meet the Funders Events each year. These provide an opportunity to meet with funders to discuss your project.
