New Clerks Training
This training is not only open to ‘New’ clerks – but as refresher training for any clerks who would like to take part.  The session is arranged for Wednesday 7th March from 6pm – 8pm in our offices here in Morpeth.  We are happy to cover end of year accounts as well, if this will help to prepare you for your council’s year-end.

In addition to the above training being offered, Community Action Northumberland in association with Tees Valley RCC as part of the Back Office Services Project, funded by Big Lottery Fund shall be delivering in autumn the new

BOSS Easy Accounts Training for Clerks

Parish Clerk or Chief Financial Officer?
Doing the books and accounting for income and expenditure can be quite a chore - it just goes with the job! But it need not be a chore and it need not be a nightmare at the year end - take the BOSS Project's 'Easy Accounts' way of managing the Council's money and let the computer deliver the monthly report, the VAT analysis, the annual statement, the individual account summaries and anything else that anyone might ask for. Enter each transaction just ONCE - everything else is a click of the mouse away! You can produce the annual statement of income and expenditure in 30 seconds! You can watch a demonstration and then have a go yourself - you will have it licked in under 2 hours.

Cost of training and accounts package will be confirmed at booking stage
