Stay Connected This Spring: Free Digital Support for Rural Communities
31st Mar 2026
As the Winter chill fades and Spring arrives, there’s renewed energy in our rural communities — and the Rural Digital Inclusion Project continues to support people across Northumberland to grow their confidence with digital technology.
Spring brings longer, lighter days and a sense of fresh beginnings — a great time to start learning new skills or revisit old ones.
Whether you’re looking to get online with ease or simply enjoy tech in a relaxed, friendly setting, our spring sessions are here to help. Being connected online isn’t just convenient — it helps people stay in touch with family and friends, access essential services, manage everyday tasks and find new opportunities.
What’s On This Spring
Across Spring months we’re running FREE community digital support sessions — all welcome and with no booking needed. Come along and chat with one of our Digital Champions who are on hand to answer questions and help with everyday technology including:
- Smartphones, tablets and laptops
- Social media and messaging
- Online services (like booking appointments or managing bills)
- Staying safe online
These sessions are informal and friendly — perfect for getting practical help or just joining a community‑focused event.
