Free one-day workshops to improve managing your money

Are you struggling with the cost of living?

CAN is running a series of free one-day workshops across Northumberland to help you manage your money. 

You'll come away with better financial wellbeing skills and confidence in dealing with everyday money and maths.

Each session will include:

  • A chance to learn about how to use a slow cooker to produce tasty food cheaply. – Try out a recipe, take home a slow cooker and recipe book to keep along with a cake you have baked yourself and an ingredients pack to try another recipe at home
  • A free lunch
  • Advice on understanding your energy bills, working out how much different appliances cost to run and energy-saving tips.
  • An opportunity to brush up on maths skills to help you budget more effectively.

Workshops are being held from 10am-2pm including a free lunch at:

Friday 3rd March - Haltwhislte Community Hub

Tuesday 7 March - Hadston House, Hadston

Friday 10 March - Miners Lamp, Prudhoe

Tuesday 14 March - Wooler Warm Hub, Wooler

Thursday 16 March - Berwick Development Trust

Friday 17 March - Alnwick Community Centre
